The Mystery of Capricorn on Mundus Volubilis
read full articleMundus Volubilis wrote:Capricorn is the tenth sign of the zodiac. Its period corresponds to the Winter Solstice, rich in symbolism of the interplay (and often struggle) between light and darkness. It is also strongly connected to all kinds of fertility rites. Its pagan connotations and its tie to the earth and the underworld are among the reasons why Christianity linked this sign to the Devil.
Re: The Mystery of Capricorn on Mundus Volubilis
Capricorn has always reminded me of martial arts, especially tai chi chuan. This sign is not very jumpy or dynamic, but the "energy" it does have, is used to produce maximum effect. Lots of people say Capricorn is workaholic. But that's so superficial and oversimplified. What Capricorn does is know exactly which bit has the greatest impact on the whole, and work on that bit. They know that the rest will fall into place by itself. I totally understand their reputation for power. From the outside, it can look like magic.
